1. The compound A is CuSO​4.

2. The reactions are as follows:

CuSO4(aq) + 2 HCl (aq) CuCl2(aq) + SO3 (g) + H2O(l)
SO3(g) + Ca(OH)2(aq) CaSO4(s) + H2O(l)


Also,

CuSO4(aq) + 2 NaOH (aq) Cu(OH)2 (s) + Na2SO4(aq)
