The correct option is D 90°
After constructing the triangle PQR, the measure of ∠Q can be obtained by using the angle sum property.

We know,
∠P + ∠Q + ∠R = 180°

Here,
∠P=40° and
∠P=50°

Putting value, we get:
40° + ∠Q + 50° = 180°
⇒ ∠Q = 180° - 50° - 40° = 90°

∴ Value of ∠Q is 90°
