The correct option is B 16% decrease
Let the price of 1 color TV = Rs. x and the number of TV sold = Rs. y.
the total original sell price =xy.
Now the price after 30% reduction = x30x100=7x10.
The number of sold TV after it was increased by 20%
= y+20y100=6y5.
the total of the new sell price = 7x10×6y5=21xy25<xy.
It is a loss.
Loss = xy21xy25=4xy25
So, the p.c of loss = 4xy25xy×100=16 p.c.
Ans- Option A.
