The correct option is C 5
We know, Dividend=(Divisor×Quotient)+Remainder
(56×Q)+29=D ------ ( 1 )
D÷R=R ------ ( 2 )
((56×Q)+29)÷8=R [ Substituting ( 1 ) in ( 2 ) ]
Since 56 is alredy divisible by 8
29÷8=R
85÷8
R=5
Required remainder is 5.
