Solution

Yes
Our immune system protects us by killing different pathogens that enter our body to infect us. When a particular pathogen enters our body, it may get killed by our immune system as soon as it is detected or there is a chance of development of particular disease associated with this pathogen when it is escaped from our immune system.

Infection with a pathogen does not necessarily lead to disease. Infection occurs when viruses, bacteria, or other microbes enter your body and begin to multiply. Disease occurs when the cells in your body are damaged as a result of infection and signs and symptoms of an illness appear.
