Yeast or Saccharomyces cerevisiae is oval and unicellular fungus which reproduce asexually by budding. Some of the cells have small bodies attached to their body due to repeated cell division at that site. These bodies are called bud. The buds derive nutrition from parent and detach when they are mature. The young ones grow up to look exactly like parent.
