Solution

The correct option is D A and B both

If the harmful waste is treated before its discharge into the water then to some extent we can save the water from getting polluted. Even hot water acts as a pollutant as it has lower Oxygen content as compared to normal water. Hot water not only lowers the overall Oxygen Content of the water body but it also increasing the temperature of the water body which may be harmful for the Aquatic Life. Plastics also pollute the water as they cannot be decomposed naturally so they are nothing but waste in the water body. Filtration is not possible for large water bodies, it can only be applied to small quantities of water.
