2. The cells are jointed to each other via cell junctions. They rests on a thin non cellular basement membrane.
3. Nervous tissue consists of densely packed nerve cells which are mainly seen in brain, spinal cord and sense organs. They mainly helps nerve impulse transmission.
4. Elongated cells called muscle fibers constitute muscle tissue. They help in movement and locomotion.
5. Connective tissues are those cells which helps in binding and joining of the different tissues to one another.
6. They also acts as a packaging tissue which forms a supporting framework for other tissues. The cells are living which are embedded in gel like materials.
