Question

On what factors does the strength of induced magnetization depend?

Open in App
Solution

The strength of induced magnetization depends on:

  1. Strength of the current- greater the strength of the current, the greater will be the induced magnetic field.
  2. Number of turns in the coil will be greater, greater will be the magnetic field.
  3. Relative motion between the magnet and the magnetic material which is to be induced-greater the speed, the greater will be the induced magnetic field.
