On which day of the menstrual cycle does the Follicular development start and on which day of the cycle does it end?

Follicular day starts on the first day of menstrual cycle and ends when ovulation ocuur which is generally around 14 or 15th day.
Follicular phase is also known as the proliferative phase as it the phase during which an ovarian follicle grows and mature producing an egg cell. Also in this phase, the uterine lining becomes dense and rich in vascular tissue due to proliferation of tissues. It's the most variable phase. The average length of the follicular phase is 16 days.
