A) Body factors: The severity of the disease also depends on age, sex, gender, weight, race, coexisting diseases, habits (smoking), etc.

C) Resistance: A person who has been immunized against typhoid, cholera, diphtheria, pertussis, etc almost never has severe disease even if the causative organism be in high quantum.

D) Treatment measures: How soon, whether adequate treatment measures have been given is a major factor influencing the severity of the disease.
