Let the angle be x.

Therefore its supplement =180-x

4 times its supplement=4(180-x)

=720-4x

According to the given condition in the question, x=720-4x

x+4x=720 (transposing -4x )

5x=720

x=720/5

x=144

Therefore the angle is 144 degree
