Given, the triangle is isosceles. One angle is 120

The other two angles will be 30 each. Let x be the length of the two sides which are equal, and a is the length of the third side.

From Sine rule, we have,

xsin30=asin120

x12=a32

a=x3 ---------- (i)

Area=12 x2sin120

Area=34 x2

We know, Radius of Incircle=AreaSemiperimeter

3=Areas=34x22x+a2=3x22(2x+a)

3=3x22(2x+x3) ----------from (i)
x=2(2+3)

Area=34 x2=344(2+3)2

Area=73+12
