According to faraday's Law of electromagnetic induction, an emf is induced in a moving conductor is given by,

E=l.(v×B)

Here, l=l=Effective length between the ends points of the conductor.


b, l and v are mutually perpendicular in the arms AD and BC,

EAD=Blv and ECB=Blv

Net induced emf,

E=Blv+Blv=2Blv

Hence, option (D) is correct.
