The correct option is B

12 bowls sugar


For every 5 bowls of flour, 3 bowls of sugar is needed.

So, ratio of bowls of sugar to bowls of flour for making the cake is 3/5

Hence, for 20 bowls of flour, she should put the sugar in such way that ratio remains same.

Let the number of bowls of sugar be x.

3/5 = x/20

x = (20 × 3)/5

x = 12

So, for 20 bowls of flour, she needs 12 bowls of sugar.
