Solution

The correct option is A 1
Ions are formed when one or more electron/s is lost or gained by an atom of element. As number of negative and positive charge in an atom is equal, it is electrically neutral. But when electrons are lost, positive charge that is number of protons become more than the negative charge that is electrons and hence the nature of charge on ion is positive. As one electron is lost, the value of charge is one.
