One Ilitre of a gas weighs 2g at 300K and 1 atm pressure. If the pressure is made 0.75 atm at which of the following temperatures will one litre of the same gas, weigh one gram?

The correct option is A 450K
Assembling all the data we get,

P1=1atm;W1=2g
P2=0.75atm;W2=1g
T1=300K;V1=1L
T2=?;V2=1L
So we know that,

P1V1P1V1=W1T1W2T2
Substituting in the above formula we get,

=> 1×10.75×1=2×3001×T2
=> 10.75=600T2
Cross Multiplying we get,
=> T2×1=600×0.75
=> T2=450K
Therefore the required temperature is 450K.
