One of the angle of quadrilatral has measure 2π9 radians and other three angles are in the ratio 3:5:8, Find the measures in radian.

Open in App
Solution

Let A=2π9=2π9×180oπ=40o
Let measures of other angles be 3x,5x and 8x.
Let, B=3x,C=5x and D=8x
We know that sum of four angles of an quadrilateral is 360o.
A+B+C+D=360o.
40o+3x+5x+8x=360o.
16x=320o.
x=20o.
Now
B=3x=3×20o=60o
C=5x=5×20o=100o
D=8x=8×20o=160o.
Measure in radian,
B=60o×π180o=π3
C=100o×π180o=5π9
D=160o×π180o=8π9
