4x2+10x...(i)

4x2 can be written as

4x2=2×2×x×x....(ii)

10x can be written as

10x=2×5×x....(iii)

From (ii) and (iii), taking 2x as the common factor, we get

=2x(2x+5)

Therefore, the factors of (2x)2+10x are 2x and (2x+5).
