Reasons for the existence of life on the Earth are as follows:

• Earth is located at just the right position in our solar system, neither too close the sun (so not very hot) nor too far from sun ( so not very cold). Earth just has the right temperature for life to flourish on it.
• Earth's gravity is sufficient enough to maintain an atmosphere around it.
• Liquid water is present on earth both above and below the surface.
