Using the quadratic formula,
x=b±b24ac2a
x=(5)±(5)24(3)(2)2(3)
x=5±25+246
x=5±76
x=5+76,576
x=126,26

The given quadratic equation can be factorised as :

3x26x+x2=0
3x(x2)+1(x2)=0
(3x+1)(x2)=0
