Given,

f=3 [ monoatomic ]
T1=300 K
As volume is doubled keeping pressure constant, temperature will be doubled. Using Charle's Law,
T2=600 K
ΔT=300 K
We know, change in internal energy
ΔU=nfRΔT2
=1×3×R×3002=450R
