Yes Centrifugation can separate heterogeneous mixtures. This is because in centrifugation, centrifugal force is applied which separates the dense components from the remaining solution . As a heterogeneous mixture contains a non-uniform phase of solution which can be separated by causing the solid to settle down and making separation possible.
