Solution

The correct option is D Fallopian funnel
Ostium is the aperture present in the infundibulum part of the fallopian tube. Fallopian tube is a part of female reproductive system whose primary function is to transfer the ova towards the sperm. It has 3 parts- Infundibulum, the funnel shaped part, isthmus, the connective part and the ampulla, the wider part which leads into the uterus. The infundibulum is a funnel shaped part of fallopian tube which has finger-like projections called fimbriae. It also has a aperture present known as ostium, which helps in the collection of ovum for fertilisation.
