Our body carries out reflex actions without the control of brain. Which other part of the nervous system is responsible for this?
Spinal cord
Coordination of the reflex actions is an important function of the spinal cord. Reflex actions are involuntary and spontaneous response to a situation which can potentially harm the body. These responses are mediated by the spinal cord and after the actions are completed, the information about it is sent to the brain for further processing.
