Solution

Let A be the set of people who can speak English.Let B be the setof people who can speak French.Now, nA = 72; nB = 43; nAB = 100Now, nAB = nA + nB - nAB100 = 72 + 43 - nAB nAB = 72 + 43 - 100 = 15So, number of people who cn speak both English and French = 15Number of people who can speak English only = nA-B=nA - nAB=72 - 15=57Number of people who can speak French only = nB-A=nB - nAB=43 - 15=28
