Solution

The correct option is B 1913=6
Say: The total number of water bottles inside and outside the box are given.

Ask:
What do we have to do here?
Ans: Find the number of bottles that are outside.

What is the total number of water bottles?
Ans: 19

How many water bottles are inside the box?
Ans: 13

What is the number of water bottles that are outside the box?
Ans: 6
How did you find the answer?
Ans: By subtracting the smaller number, i.e. 13, from the greater number, i.e. 19. We get a difference of 6.

What is the subtraction equation here?
Ans: 1913=6

Hence, Option B is correct.

WB: If required, use the whiteboard to represent the total number of water bottles using counters on a number frame. Then cross out the number of water bottles that are inside the box as shown and write the subtraction equation.
