Depression in freezing point, Δ=i(Kfm) ; where i= Van't-Hoff factor
Here both BaCl2 and AlCl3 have same molarity, thus the freezing point will now depend upon the Van't Hoff's factor.
BaCl2Ba2++2Cl i=3
AlCl3Al3++3Cl i=4
Therefore, AlCl3 having more Van't Hoff factor, has higher freezing point than 1M BaCl2 .
