Question

Out of 4gof methane (CH4) ad 11g of CO2,WICH has more molecules ?

Open in App
Solution

No of moles = massmolar mass

No of moles in 4 gm of methane = 416 = 0.25 moles

no of moles in 11 g of CO2 = 1144 = 0.25 moles

No of molecules in one mole of any compound is same, i.e. 6.022 ×1023
Therefore, no of molecules in 0.25 moles of both methane and CO2 will also be same.
