Out of propene and but-2-ene which is more stable and why ?

But-2-ene is more stable than propene. In but-2-ene more number of alpha hydrogen is present w.r.t. double bond so, more number of hyperconjugation structures are present in the case of but-2-ene.

As more is the hyperconjugation structure more will be its stability.
