Solution

The correct option is A 105
Let H be the set of all Hindi speaking residents,
E be the set of all English speaking residents,
T be the set of all Tamil speaking residents,

Given: n(U)=200,n(H)=120,n(E)=60,n(T)=50
n(HE)=10,n(ET)=15,n(HT)=15,n(HET)=10

To find: n(HT)

We know the difference formula,
n(AB)=n(A)n(AB)
n(TE)=n(T)n(TE)
n(TE)=12015=105
