Iring=mr2.
Idisc=12mr2
Isquarelamina=112((2r)2+(2r)2)=23mr2
Square frame:
We consider each side of the frame as a thin rod of mass m4. Thus moment of inertia about the center using parallel axis theorem 112(m4(2r)2)+m4r2=mr23. Multiplying this value by 4 for 4 rods we get the highest value of moment of inertia for square frame as 43mr2
