Stem cuttings is a mode of vegetative propagation. The stem is used to grow a whole new plant similar to the parent plant. It is known as cloning as the offspring are identical to their parents because the gametes do not fuse so recombination of character does not take place.
Tissue culture is a biological technique which involves the development of plant under the controlled condition on a nutrient culture medium of the known composition. The pant developed by the tissue culture are cloned by the process of micropropagation.
The mutation causes the sudden heritable change in the genome of offspring, so the offspring produced are not the clone of the parent.
Seed production involves fusion of gametes. The embryo inside the seed has genetic material of both the parents. So the offspring produced are not the clone of the parent.
