Let his income be $Rs.x$

Money spent on house rent $=25\%$ of $x=\frac{25}{100}\times x=\frac{x}{4}$

Money spent on household expenses $=60\%$ of Rest amount after house rent

$=60\%$ of $(x-\frac{x}{4})$

$=\frac{60}{100}\times \frac{3x}{4}$

$=\frac{9x}{20}$

Money he saves $=x-(\frac{x}{4}+\frac{9x}{20})$

$=x-(\frac{x\times 5}{4\times 5}+\frac{9x}{20})$

$=x-(\frac{5x}{20}+\frac{9x}{20})$

$=x-\frac{5x+9x}{20}$

$=x-\frac{14x}{20}=\frac{6x}{20}$

It is given that the money he saves is equal to $Rs.2100$

$\therefore \frac{6x}{20}=2100$

$x=\frac{2100\times 20}{6}$

$x=Rs.7000$

Hence, his total income is $Rs.7000$
