Case A Case B

Solution

Fluid friction depends on:
1) The relative speed with respect to the medium
2) Nature of the medium
3) The shape of the object

In both the cases, speed and shape of the object are the same. Hence for these cases, friction can be solely compared based on the nature of the fluid.

We know that denser fluids offers more resistance, and honey is denser when compared to the water. Hence, we can say that the object will experience more fluid friction when moving in honey(case A).
