Solution
Ovulation is when an egg is released from the ovary in females. LH rise elevate the estrogen release from the growing follicle and it is this rise that triggers the events that trigger ovulation to take place on 14th day of menstrual cycle. LH make the egg inside the follicle become fully mature and ready for release and fertilisation.
