In oxidative phosphorylation, the reduced coenzymes NADH and FADH2 are oxidized by transferring the electrons to the electron transport chain (ETC) in the mitochondria. The electrons finally reach the terminal electron acceptor i.e. oxygen. When the electrons move through the ETC, energy is released, which is utilized by ATP synthase to catalyse the synthesis of ATP.
Photophosphorylation is a part of photosynthesis. Glycolysis and Kreb's cycle are involved with substrate-level phsphorylation.
