Ozonation causes the alkyne to break into two carboxylic acids at triple bond. Here the two compounds found are CH3CH2CH2COOH and (CH3)3CCOOH. if we merge both the acids together again the alkyne found would be CH3CH2CH2CCC(CH3)3. The IUPAC name of this alkyne is 2,2dimethyl3heptyne
