Let Mohit have total money = x

And

Tarun have total money = y

Form first condition we get

( 0.63 )x = ( 1.5 ) y

y = $\frac{0.63}{1.5}x$ -------------- ( 1 )

And from second condition we get

x = y + 116


Substitute value from equation 1 we get

x = $\frac{0.63}{1.5}x$ + 116

x - $\frac{0.63}{1.5}x$ = 116

Taking LCM , we get

$\frac{1.5x-0.63x}{1.5}$ = 116

$\frac{0.87}{1.5}x$ = 116

0.87x = 174

x = $\frac{174}{0.87}=\frac{174}{0.87}\times \frac{100}{100}=\frac{17400}{87}$ = 200

So,

Mohit have total money = Rs 200 ( Ans )
