Hydrophyte:- These are plants that grow in water or in very wet places.

Halophytes:-These are plants which tolerate or even demand sodium chloride concentrations in the soil water they absorb.

Xerophyte:- These are the plants which are capable of growing in conditions where water is present in low amount.

Mesophyte:- These are the plants which require medium amount of water means neither too very high nor too low.

Solanum tuberosum(potato) is a mesophytic plant.
