Solution

(1)

There is no air on the moon and sound requires a material medium to travel. Thus, the sped of sound on the moon will be zero as no sound travels.

(2)

Time (or orbital) period of geostationary satellite is the same as the period of revolution of the Earth, 24 hours or 1 day.

(3)

If we drop a cube of ice in a glass of water then after the ice MELTS. The level of water remains the same. Because, apparent weight of ice = weight of the displaced water When ice melts, it occupies the volume of displaced water. So, water remains at the same level. Also we can say the density of ice is less than the water, so water level remains the same.
