1) Diagonals of a parallelogram will make it a rectangle when its diagonals are equal and bisect each other at 90°.

2) Rectangle a special parallelogram because its diagonals bisect each other at 90° and its diagonals are also equal. Each angle of a rectangle is a right angle.

Square is a special rectangle because a square has all sides of equal length whereas in a rectangle, pair of opposite sides are equal in length.

All other properties of a rectangle are similar to that of a square.
