2/7 of the flowers in a vase are red ,3/7 of them are white and the rest are yellow .If the vase has flowers,how many are yellow ?

Total number of flowers in the vase = 21
Number of red flowers = $\frac{2}{7}$ of total number of flowers = $\frac{2}{7}\times 21=6$
Number of white flowers = $\frac{3}{7}$ of total number of flowers = $\frac{3}{7}\times 21=9$
Therefore number of yellow flowers = 21 - (6 + 9) = 6
