How many grams of sodium oxide is formed by burning 46g sodium in air?

The equation is as follows:
4Na + O2 → 2Na2O
Molar mass of sodium (Na) = 23 g/mol
Molar mass of Na2O = 2×23 + 16 = 62 g/mol
According to reaction ,
92 g of sodium is burnt in air to give = 124 g of Na2O
46 g of sodium will give = 124×4692 = 62 g
Hence , 62 g of sodium oxide (Na2O) is formed by the burning of 46 g of sodium in air.
