Inflorescence Flower
The arrangement and distribution of flowers over a plant is called inflorescence. Inflorescence is the name of the modified shoot that is specialized to bear flowers. Flower is a specialized condensed shoot of an angiospermic plant in which the shoot apical meristem gets transformed into floral meristem for carrying out sexual reproduction.
The axis of inflorescence is called peduncle. The stalk of the flower is known as pedicel.
