Let, r be the radius of the semicircular path. The circumference of the circle is = 2Ï€r.
Since, L is a semicircular path, so, L = Ï€r
=> r = L/Ï€
So, displacement og the body is = 2(radius) = 2L/Ï€
Therefore, ratio of distance and displacement is = L : 2L/Ï€ = Ï€: 2
