A body is allowed to fall under influence of gravity from a height h. When does its (a) potential energy become maximum, (b) potential energy = kinetic energy, (c) kinetic energy becomes maximum.
When a body is allowed to fall under influence of gravity from a height h:
(a) potential energy be maximum at the highest point ie at the height h,
(b) potential energy = kinetic energy at the point lying exactly in the middle ie at the height h/2 from the ground during the motion since at that very stage half of the PE has been converted into KE
(c) Kinetic energy becomes maximum at the last instant ie just before hitting the ground.
