A bullet 'A' is dropped from a certain height and at the same time another bullet 'B' is fired horizontally from the same height. Which one will hit the ground first and why?

Both the bullets have initial velocity zero in vertical direction and acceleration due to gravity g in verticl direction.therefore distance travelled in vertical direction : s= uyt + 12gt2s = 0 + 12gt2t = 2sgTime taken to reach the ground is only depends on the vertical distance and g.Therefore both will take same time to reach the ground.
