Xerophytes are plants those are highly adapted to survive in adverse situations like in deserts or in snow covered areas. They can survive in very less water and very high or low temperature. They are variously adapted to conserve water and grow in extreme climate. For these reasons, xerophytic species are increasing in comparison to other species.
