A cyclist is moving with a uniform speed of 36 km/h .If the radius of each wheel is 0.25 m ,calculate the angular speed of the wheels ?
Speed of cycle,v = 36km/h = 36*5/18 m/s = 10m/s.
Radius of wheel, R = 0.25m
So, angular speed of wheel = ω =?
We know,
v = ωr
=> ω = v/r = 10/0.25 = 40 rad/s.
